Inspired by the work of theorists Stuart Hall and Avtar Brah, whereby identity is a non-linear evolving phenomena belonging to our future as much as to our past, Diasporic Daze offers a space for the reimagining of identity, healing and joy through a club lens. A space to reenergise through dance and shared experiences by enacting new ways of being and feeling, and new spaces of belonging.
The concept is activated through a monthly radio show and events space that celebrates artistry and music from the SWANA region, diasporas and beyond with live mixes and guest interviews with creatives redefining the boundaries of music, art and technology.
